The Vector Optics Orion Max 3-18x44 is engineered for medium-range precision and elevated-terrain hunting, delivering outstanding optical clarity through its advanced optical system and a reinforced mechanical platform designed for consistent, repeatable and reliable shot execution. The 44 mm objective lens combined with high-performance coatings ensures excellent light transmission, reduced chromatic aberration, and high-definition clarity across the entire magnification range. Constructed from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum, the scope features fully multi-coated lenses that enhance contrast, reduce glare and improve target definition in both medium-range and elevated-terrain scenarios. The reinforced 30 mm nitrogen-purged monotube provides solid structural rigidity and supports a wide internal adjustment range, offering precise 0.1 MIL click values ideal for medium-range shooting and fine precision corrections. The etched FFP VOR-4 MIL reticle is designed for precision targeting, offering a clean, intuitive layout with refined subtensions, holdover references and horizontal MIL references optimized for accurate target acquisition and efficient shot correction at any magnification. The elevation turret includes a mechanical zero-stop system for instant and repeatable return-to-zero, while the side-focus adjustment ranges from 9.144 meters (10 yards) to infinity, supporting both close-range sight-in work and extended-distance engagements. With generous eye relief and a precision-focused design, the Orion Max 3-18x44 is ideal for shooters demanding optical quality, versatility and reliability in medium-range precision and elevated-terrain hunting. Included accessories: High-profile Picatinny/Weaver mounts, lens caps, cleaning cloth and a sunshade. Precision Targeting for Medium-Range Engagement and Elevated-Terrain Hunting Precision-based disciplines originated from practical shooting. Given the complexity and challenge of these sports, the scopes used must excel in every aspect to meet the high demands. Elevated-terrain hunting requires optics capable of maintaining clarity, stability and reliable mechanical performance in steep-angle shooting conditions and rapidly changing light environments. The Orion Max 3-18x44 provides the magnification range, optical resolution and mechanical consistency required for confident medium-distance shots in elevated terrain. VOR-4 MIL RETICLE DESIGN FEATURES The VOR-4 MIL reticle is designed for practical precision shooting, offering a clean and uncluttered layout with straightforward MIL markings for reliable elevation and windage reference. CLEAR CENTER AIMING POINT A fine illuminated center dot provides a precise aiming reference, improving visibility in low-light conditions and supporting accurate shot placement at any magnification. SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE MIL MARKINGS The reticle features evenly spaced MIL hash marks along the vertical and horizontal axes, allowing shooters to apply consistent holdovers and windage corrections without visual clutter. UNOBSTRUCTED FIELD OF VIEW The minimalist line structure maintains a wide and clear sight picture, ensuring fast target acquisition and easy tracking of moving targets.
