The Vector Optics Continental 5‑30x56 FFP is engineered specifically for PRS and tactical long‑range competition, combining high‑performance optics with a rugged mechanical system designed for fast, repeatable and precise shot execution under demanding match conditions. Its large 56 mm objective lens delivers excellent light transmission and a wide, bright field of view, ensuring optimal clarity when engaging targets across varying lighting environments. Constructed from high‑strength 6061‑T6 aluminium, the scope features fully multi‑coated lenses for enhanced contrast, reduced glare and improved target definition at extended ranges. The oversized 34 mm nitrogen‑purged monotube provides exceptional rigidity and expands the internal adjustment range, offering extensive elevation travel with precise 0.1 MRAD click values ideal for PRS stage transitions. The etched FFP VCT‑34 reticle is purpose‑built for competition, offering a clean, fast and intuitive layout with refined subtensions, holdover references, and wind grids optimized for rapid target acquisition and efficient shot correction. The elevation turret includes a mechanical zero‑stop system for instant and repeatable return‑to‑zero, while the side focus adjustment ranges from 9.144 m (10 yards) to infinity, supporting both close‑range positional stages and extreme‑distance engagements. With generous eye relief and a robust competition‑ready design, the Continental SCFF‑30 is ideal for shooters demanding maximum precision, speed and reliability in PRS and long‑range tactical environments. Included accessories: medium‑profile Picatinny/Weaver mounts, Spare Elevation Turret (without zero stop feature),bikini‑style lens caps, cleaning cloth and a sunshade. Precision Targeting for Long-Range Engagement What is PRS? PRS is a long-range, precision-based discipline that originated from practical shooting. Competitors will need to fire 10 shots per stage within limited time (often 2 minutes). In PRS, competitors must fire 10 shots per stage within a limited time (often 2 minutes). Unlike benchrest shooting, PRS requires shooters to assess the stage layout and adapt to multiple shooting positions, typically between 2 and 5. Given the complexity and challenge of the sport, the scope used needs to excel in every aspect to meet the high demands of PRS. VCT‑34 RETICLE DESIGN FEATURES The VCT‑34 reticle is optimised for PRS competition, offering a fast, uncluttered layout with precise subtensions for rapid holds, corrections and target transitions. INTUITIVE CENTER AND FLOATING AIMING POINT A fine center dot provides an exact aiming reference for precision shots at any magnification. The floating center structure maintains visibility at low magnification without obscuring small or distant targets. COMPETITION‑FOCUSED SUBTENSIONS The reticle includes detailed subtension marks for micro‑adjustments: 0.1, 0.2, 0.5 and 1.0 MRAD intervals. These allow fast and accurate corrections without relying on turret adjustments during timed PRS stages. TACTICAL HOLDOVER GRID A structured holdover grid provides rapid elevation references and intuitive range compensation for multi‑distance target arrays. Horizontal windage markers offer clear lateral references for wind calls and moving targets. NUMBERED MARKINGS FOR FAST COMPETITION USE Numbered vertical graduations allow shooters to identify common hold points instantly, improving speed during follow‑up shots and transitions. TAPERED POSTS AND RAPID ACQUISITION Tapered bars guide the eye toward the center without dominating the sight picture. Thicker outer posts enhance rapid target acquisition while preserving fine central detail.
