The Vector Optics Continental X10 1‑10x28 ED is engineered for ultra‑responsive close‑to‑medium‑range precision and dynamic target engagements, delivering outstanding optical clarity through its ED glass system and a reinforced mechanical platform designed for consistent, repeatable and reliable shot execution in driven hunting and fast‑paced shooting. The compact 28 mm ED objective lens combined with premium glass ensures excellent light transmission, reduced chromatic aberration, and high‑definition clarity across the entire 1‑10x magnification range. Constructed from high‑strength 6061‑T6 aluminum, the scope features fully multi‑coated lenses that enhance contrast, reduce glare and improve target definition in both close‑range and extended‑distance scenarios. The reinforced 34 mm nitrogen‑purged monotube provides solid structural rigidity and supports a wide internal adjustment range, offering precise 0.1 MIL click values ideal for rapid close‑range engagements and fine precision corrections at medium distances. The etched FFP VET‑RAR 2 reticle is designed for fast, intuitive targeting, offering a clean, hunting‑oriented layout with refined subtensions, holdover references, and wind grids optimized for accurate target acquisition and efficient shot correction at any magnification. The elevation turret includes a mechanical zero‑stop system for instant and repeatable return‑to‑zero, while the side‑focus and illumination controls support both close‑range sight‑in work and low‑light hunting scenarios, with IR illumination enhancing reticle visibility in challenging light conditions. With generous eye relief and a precision‑focused design, the 1‑10x28 ED is ideal for shooters demanding optical quality, versatility, and reliability in fast‑paced hunting, driven game and close‑to‑medium‑range precision. Included accessories: Medium Picatinny mounts, bikini‑style lens caps, cleaning cloth and a sunshade. Fast Target Acquisition for Close‑Range Engagement and Medium‑Range Precision / Driven Hunting Modern hunting and dynamic shooting disciplines originated from practical field use. Given the complexity and challenge of these environments, the scopes used must excel in every aspect to meet the high demands. Fast‑paced hunting and driven game require optics capable of maintaining clarity, stability and reliable mechanical performance in demanding conditions and rapidly changing light environments. The 1‑10x28 ED provides the magnification range, optical resolution and mechanical consistency required for confident close‑range shots and medium‑distance precision. VET‑RAR 2 RETICLE DESIGN FEATURES The VET‑RAR 2 reticle is optimized for hunting and dynamic precision shooting, offering a fast, uncluttered layout with precise subtensions for accurate holds, corrections and target transitions. INTUITIVE CENTER AND FLOATING AIMING POINT A fine center dot provides an exact aiming reference for precision shots at any magnification. The floating center structure maintains visibility at low magnification without obscuring small or distant targets, while IR illumination ensures clear reticle definition in low‑light conditions. PRECISION‑FOCUSED SUBTENSIONS The reticle includes detailed subtension marks for micro‑adjustments, supporting fast and accurate corrections without relying on turret adjustments during close‑to‑medium‑range sessions. TACTICAL HOLDOVER GRID A structured holdover grid provides rapid elevation references and intuitive range compensation for multi‑distance target arrays. Horizontal windage markers offer clear lateral references for wind calls and moving targets. NUMBERED MARKINGS FOR FAST USE Numbered vertical graduations allow shooters to identify common hold points instantly, improving speed during follow‑up shots and transitions. TAPERED POSTS AND RAPID ACQUISITION Tapered bars guide the eye toward the center without dominating the sight picture. Thicker outer posts enhance rapid target acquisition while preserving fine central detail. FFP BENEFITS Designed for First Focal Plane use, the VET‑RAR 2 reticle scales proportionally with magnification, offering precise and consistent holdovers at any zoom level.
